Going back to NY, I stumbled across a poem my maternal Grandfather wrote for us to find after he died in 1994. I wanted to share it with you on my birthdday, May 15th, about someone who meant so much to me - passing on an inheritance that lives to this day. Love yas!

I was a kid from Brooklyn, and pretty street wise

Until I had my Grandsons, who opened my eyes

To that wonderful world of love to hear them say I love you “Pop”,

Brings a feeling within me I cannot top

Remembering days when I was a lad,

 The Word is a Sword that cuts up, tears out our hearts. Graphically, NT priests are to ask to be covered in Lamb’s Blood, dressed in radiant robes as the doorway into the highway Holy of Holies; Baptism of Holy Spirit and fire mixed with spiritual songs, hymns, prayers in the Spirit, richly dwelling Word and thanksgiving are the context of fragrant incense worship. Rising up by faith from our earthly tabernacle, our sliced and scorched hearts emit sweet smelling fragrance into God’s nostrils. A broken heart, contrite spirit is always invited to stand in “everlasting burnings”. This is Who we are to draw near to. The Great High Priest is waiting.

He loves you. He walks among you right now. Even amongst Nebuchadnezzar’s inferno, He too will come like He did for Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. Come- Stand- Burn with Him unto the Father’s Throne.

 “We do have such a High Priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the LORD, not by man.” (Hebrews 8:1-2)

O how He loves sweet smelling incense!

Foremost ministry mission mandate -

To agree, all-out, unashamedly with Jesus’ first and last public priestly prayers:

” Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”  (Matthew 6:9-10)

“I pray…that all of them may be one, Father, just, as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me. Father, I want those you have given to me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world” (John 17:20-24)

Priests Forever premise: All things heaven and earth brought together in Christ through prayer…

Simplified sequencing of priestly prayer ministry worked backwards:

• Heaven and earth come together completely in Christ - (Ephesians 1:9-10) as one reality - (Revelation 21: 1-2, 22-26)

• Heaven comes to earth - Jesus has returned as King with His priesthood (Revelation 20:6) in preparation, through prayer for 1000 years, to usher in The Father’s return to earth, to a Garden, to be with His kids - (Revelation 21:3; Genesis 1:31, 2:1)

• God’s Glorious Son descends to war and wed  - The Bride (both Jew and Gentile) and Holy Spirit pray in total agreement (Revelation 22:17) for Jesus’ return for a wedding supper, (Revelations 19: 7-8) ruling as Son of David, King of all the earth- (Psalm 2)

• God’s glorious gift of mercy extended to unbelievers - both Jew and Gentile become one Church (Ephesians 2:11-18)  whom are ready to love and serve not only a Great Harvest of souls (Luke 10:2), but also one another unto death (Revelation 7: 1-14)

• Gentile Church unites globally in love, purity and prayer- for the purpose of provoking Israel to jealousy  (Romans 10:11-16) that this nation would come into her destiny and salvation (Isaiah 62:1-5)

• The corporate Church worldwide receives the revelation and understanding of their glorious identity and functional privilege before God  (forever and ever…) - (Revelation 1:6, I Peter 2:5, 9, Romans 15:15-16, Exodus 19:1-6)

• Friends growing together -  in love and in agreement in the grace of “fragrant prayer and fasting” (2 Corinthians 2:14)  through cultivating a lifestyle (Romans 12:1) of ministering incense unto God (Revelation 8:3-5, Luke 1:8-11) before His blazing Throne (Daniel 7:9, Revelation 4:5)

All 7 bullet points cover the broad strokes of our mission and mandate to serve the call the LORD has given. Looking at the first and last priestly prayers and the symbol, is a weak attempt to concretize, or put into language, what we are going for full-force.
